For these IDOT projects improvements were made to US 41 through multiple municipalities. The work included resurfacing, pavement patching, curbs gutters, grading and shaping shoulders, and sidewalk removal to ensure ADA compliance. INTERRA provided Materials Coordination and Documentation assistance for the project.

The work required forensic examination of material documentation with the objective of producing and submitting missing reports. A documentation review was conducted along with the processing of material reports and quantities. Reports were submitted to the appropriate IDOT databases (MISTIC, RFA, etc.) for review and the processing of Evidence of Inspection documentation, reconciling quantity discrepancies, processing material documentation for IDOT project closeout, and for performing site visits and inspections.

Testing was conducted on asphalt both at the plant and in the field. INTERRA completed testing and inspection on the asphalt covering density and temperature for the patching and for a road shoulder. The project involved 100,000 tons of Pay For Performance (PFP) and Quality Control for Performance (QCP). He also conducted testing and inspection services on concrete and made cylinder molds which were transported to the INTERRA laboratory. The performance of the above listed duties and responsibilities brought a successful conclusion and closeout of these IDOT contracts and US Route 41.
