This Lakeview Medical Campus project included the development of a three-story medical office building and an associated parking lot. INTERRA performed subsurface soil exploration, drilling for boreholes. Samples were collected and groundwater was monitored during drilling. Various tests conducted included: pressuremeter testing, vane shear testing, moisture content testing, and unconfined compressive strength testing. All samples collected were classified by a Geotechnical Engineer. In addition, INTERRA provided testing and inspection of concrete, steel, and precast welds. Soil compaction testing was conducted on backfill grade beams. INTERRA monitored a concrete pour for grade beams. Concrete footing and trenches were also tested and inspected. Concrete services consisted of slump, temperature, strength, and air content testing. Cylinder specimens were also cast, stored, and transported to the INTERRA laboratory.
